PayPal cashouts are temporarily delayed due to PayPal forcing a bunch of paperwork on us. I'll update you with the progress of that as I have it. (It'll likely drag on a bit knowing PayPal --- as they don't like to do things in the background. They want everything to come to a crashing halt until they get their signatures, it's a really discourteous way of treating their merchants!)
There are a few issues with PayPal at the moment, as we’ve got such high turnover, we’ve moved up to their highest department in terms of oversight. And they’re basically crawling all over the account, asking lots of questions & wanting more documents. Carlos is sorting all that out at at the moment, but I can’t pay the pending cashouts there today.
PayPal shouldn’t be a giant issue… they’re just doing a big ass risk analysis. We’ve been through this before almost a year ago. I don’t really know why they’re doing it all over again, as nothing has changed, and they should still have all the files & info from the first time around. Plus we have an amazing track record with them – so there’s really no reason for it. Other than to cover their own asses via a mountain of paperwork.
But like I said, we’ve moved up to a new department, as our account turnover is now in the multiple millions, our active balance is over $1m… So now we get their full attention!
Worst case scenario is they stop doing business with us, tie up our money for 6months. And then release it via bank wire… That’d be a giant pain in the ass, but it shouldn’t come to that. We are very flexible, and we can adjust to their requirements however they like. We are compliant to their T&C to the letter… And the risk to PayPal is virtually nothing; we absorb all that… so there shouldn’t be a problem.
