So it seems PayPals grand solution to determining our risk, is to force everyone to wait a month! And then see how many chargebacks hit the account. To decide whether to permit any continuance or not.
We'll keep sending them emails daily up until March 10th, and then we'll see what they have to say!
What a waste of time.
And what lousy treatment of a merchant.... just turning their service off completely, without warning, blocking a million dollars of cashflow in the process, without any care in the world. PayPal is too big, if they can get away with treating merchants in this way. But as they have the monopoly in online payments, seeing as banks refuse to modernise; we're forced to deal with it.
We'll forward this to our lawyer and see if there is anything that can be done to speed this up. But otherwise it's a waiting game.
I'm asking Carlos again, to contact Paypal requetsing that they release $70k of our blocked funds. That'll still leave over $1m in the account. Just so that we can pay the pending cashouts one time.
As that will help users wait out this silly period much more comfortably. As half of these cashouts were requested prior to PayPal turning off our service. And it'd be a nice gesture to let them have their money. Then we can disable / warn new cashouts, that it may take some time to pay you - as PayPal is being inconsiderate.
