Raj opened the meeting explaining that the bb card had been withdrawn with immediate effect by MasterCard, he went on to explain that this was nothing to do with vector and that he and ted at vector has tried to keep the deal alive. The reason for the withdraw by MasterCard was down to bad press on the internet and that MasterCard felt is was damaging their brand, other factors for the decision was down to affiliates promoting the bb MasterCard on the internet. Whilst the last 48hrs they have been trying to secure the deal, BB had already made the decision to follow their legal teams advise to seek a third partie audit of the company via the a legal team thus providing evidence of the legitimate business that bb is. This decision will still go ahead even thought the card has been withdrawal.
Chris talked about compliance and that this was now a major route to provide evidence but also get the affiliates to comply, whilst where doing things correct others were not and as such damaging the business
Raj stated that all affiliates have ten days from today to withdrawn any funds from the card either via ATM or purchases, any remaining funds will be returned to the card holder within three months. All pending bb card payments should be reversed and new requests via either Payza or STP should be done ASAP.
Chris also stated that those who had only recently requested the card would be refunded the $35 shipping charge.
Ted CEO of vector confirmed the above thoughts whilst disappointed all parties were not able to keep the bb card alive, it was MasterCard who pulled away as above. Vector do work with other card process and are now actively looking at other options as a matter or urgency.
All Three reaffirmed that BB is still strong still legal and still very much alive…"
